Kiosk

Olga has settled comfortably in her kiosk and serves customers at the window every day. She is not only a saleswoman, she is also a confidant and a good advisor to her customers. However, the fear of the outside world (as well as the narrow kiosk door and the many chocolates she has eaten) has trapped Olga and prevents her from fulfilling her dream of the sea.

Nearby, outside, traveler Antons has noticed the colorful kiosk seller, and now challenges Olga in various ways to free herself from her own voluntary captivity.

In essence, it does not matter whether the kiosk window, the glass of the screen or something else separates us from the outside world, sometimes we need each other to be there and help us to take the first step.

The play is based on the motifs of Anete Melece's picture book "Kiosk".

The play is intended for children from 5 years of age.

Premiere on March 31, 2021, at the Latvian Puppet Theatre.
